La Casa De Papel Star Luka Peros Joins TRT Tabi’s Asylum Project
Luka Peros, widely known for his role as “Marseille” in Spain’s hit crime thriller La Casa De Papel, is set to star in TRT Tabi’s Asylum project. This marks the Croatian actor’s latest collaboration with TRT, following his role as Giovanni Giustiniani in the period series Mehmed Fetihler Sultanı (Mehmed: The Sultan of Conquests).
In Asylum, Peros will take on the role of the “Mysterious Manager.” The series addresses the global refugee crisis, offering a unique perspective by blending contemporary themes with a dystopian survival narrative. This marks the first time a Turkish production tackles the refugee issue on a global scale.
The eight-episode series is directed by Ozan Uzunoğlu and written by Ümit Cihan Canpolat. Set to wrap filming on January 15.
