Amidst the chaos, Cerkutay Bey urged Tekfur Andre to surrender peacefully and guarantee Alaeddin Bey’s safety. Defiant, Tekfur Andre displayed his brutality by caging Alaeddin and using him as a human shield on the castle walls. The tension rose as Osman Bey launched an attack on Karadin Castle with catapults, shattering its defenses. But the stakes reached new heights when a cannonball exploded near Alaeddin’s cage, placing his life in grave danger.
