Kuruluş Osman Episode 170: Osman Bey’s Duel and the Shocking Abduction
With its 170th episode, Kuruluş Osman achieved a 6.57% rating and a 17.59% audience share in the All Viewers category, becoming the most-watched production of Wednesday evening.
THE FIRST TURKISH SERIES WITH 10 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS
Kurulus Osman, which takes its place in YouTube Turkey’s trending lists every week with its trailers and videos, has become the first TV series channel to have 10 million subscribers on YouTube.
The ratings record-breaking series Kuruluş Osman topped both the ratings and social media with its 170th episode aired on ATV. The episode was marked by the abduction of Osman Bey’s daughter Fatma Hatun, Yusuf, and Saruca by Sofia.
What Happened in the 170th Episode of Kuruluş Osman?
Fatma Hatun, responsible for managing affairs at Uç Bazaar, unexpectedly came face-to-face with Sofia. The Bacıyan group, trying to protect Fatma Hatun, were overpowered by Sofia’s men. Sofia attacked Fatma Hatun, and in response, Fatma declared:
“You will beg to live, witch! But you will drown in your own blood! You are a coward hiding your face, and you will die like a coward!”
However, Fatma Hatun fainted from Sofia’s sword strike. Sofia’s men then wrapped her in a rug and abducted her from Uç Bazaar. Sofia also captured Saruca and Yusuf, taking them along with Fatma Hatun.
Osman Bey Prepares for a Major Strike Against Akhisar Castle
Osman Bey, alongside his sons, beys, and alps, marched toward Akhisar Castle, determined to deliver a heavy blow to both Byzantium and Karesi Bey. For the first time, Osman Bey and Commander Lucas crossed swords within the walls of Akhisar Castle. As Osman Bey laid siege to the castle, he challenged Lucas to a duel.
In a fierce moment during their fight, Osman Bey aimed his sword directly at Lucas’s chest. However, Lucas caught the blade with his bare hands, stopping it despite the blood dripping from his palms. Meanwhile, Bala Hatun arrived at Akhisar and informed Osman Bey that Fatma Hatun had been abducted.
From the castle walls, Osman Bey and his companions were shocked to see Fatma Hatun, Saruca, and Yusuf being held captive. Upon seeing Fatma Hatun bound and gagged, Osman Bey swore vengeance:
“You vile cur! If you harm my daughter or lay a finger on her, the only thing covering your face will be the soil itself!”
